In 2023, IFA gathered 2285 companies from 49 countries and regions to participate, with an exhibition area of 130000 square meters, attracting visitors from 138 countries and regions to the venue. Among them, 53% of exhibitors come from Europe, 41% from Asia, and the other 6% from North America.
IFA - Berlin International Consumer Electronics and Home Appliances Exhibition is jointly organized by the German Association for the Entertainment and Electronics Industry and the Berlin International Exhibition Company. It is also one of the most important international exhibitions in the field of consumer electronics, communication, and information technology products in Europe and the world. It provides the best opportunity and ideal venue for electronic consumer goods sellers and buyers in Europe and the world to gather and showcase new products.
As one of the three major global home appliance and consumer electronics exhibitions, the 2023 Berlin IFA Consumer Electronics Exhibition has finally returned to normal after experiencing several years of pandemic impact. Looking back on the last time I went to the IFA Exhibition, it was in 2019 before the pandemic, and four years can really change a lot.
1. Attack on the overall situation of Chinese brands: Chinese brands such as Hisense, Haier, Midea, TCL, Skyworth, Konka, Changhong, and other home appliance manufacturers have all demonstrated strong strength, not only occupying the C position, but also having a large area. Various cool technology trees are also dotted. In 2019, only Hisense and Midea had relatively large booths. This time, Chinese sellers were also in a sub venue, but many Chinese companies entered the main venue and competed with European and American big names.
2. European, American, and Japanese brands are fully withdrawing: Old European brands such as Bosch, Siemens, Miele, Liebherr, AEG, and Samsung are still continuing their previous exhibition scale. Previous regulars such as Krups, Tefal, Philips, Delon, and Kenwood from France have all been absent. Some have reduced their scale, such as AEG Electrolux, LG, and Sharp. Unlike Chinese brands launching a massive attack, European and American brands have shown a significant contraction trend at IFA exhibitions. The exhibition presentation effect, on-site interactive activities, and so on are all incomparable to previous years.
In the context of the overall environment, energy conservation and environmental protection remain the main theme for 3 innovative ideas and new products. Major brands are rolling up energy efficiency and applying intelligent technology to assist users in energy management. Many new products save 10% more energy than energy efficiency A
Attached are some on-site photos of the 2023 Berlin Consumer Electronics Exhibition in Germany. After the end of the epidemic, it has returned to its former glory. Both the international and global markets are crowded, and exhibitors are constantly accepting orders on site. Several companies are already preparing to book stalls for next year, and of course, there is also the German specialty pork elbow meal. The 24th IFA exhibition is coming to its 100th edition, a true century long exhibition where companies showcase their brands and negotiate cooperation. Book now~
