Many Russian state-owned companies are planning or have started to purchase individual components from China to continue assembling semi loose components of servers and telecommunications equipment in Russia, which is a good opportunity for Chinese electronic enterprises to expand their market.

1、 Preparation before departure

1. Purchase a phone card

You can buy MTC cards on shopping platforms, including a conversion head and a card pickup pin. The specific package can be selected according to the required time. Suggest purchasing for 5-7 days, with additional data, can answer calls, cannot make calls. If you need to make a call, pay attention to buying packages that can be dialed! Attention: The card can only be inserted after landing. The extension arrangement is mainly in the downtown area of Moscow, with sufficient signal and traffic. If you are not confident, you can purchase a mobile package with dual insurance.

2. Download the app in advance for future needs

Download and register apps such as Whatsapp or VKontakte (VK), Yandex Maps, YandexGo (taxi service), and translation software. Download 1-2 more secure apps.

3. Apply for a visa in advance

4. Luggage list:

(Most Russian Airlines can carry a bag of no more than 5KG, carry a piece of luggage of no more than 10KG, and check in a piece of luggage of no more than 23KG, depending on the flight. You can consult the exhibition company that leads the group.)

Regarding clothing: Moscow is not particularly cold in April, so there is no need to bring too much thick equipment; It is best to wear a mask as the wind is strong; Hats are also more practical, gloves and scarves can be worn as needed, and sunglasses can also be worn. Exhibitors suggest wearing a pair of comfortable sports shoes.

Daily necessities: commonly used toiletries. It's very hot and dry indoors in Russia, so you can bring some skincare products as needed.

Other emergency supplies: carry on small bags that can hold company information, collected business cards, emergency power banks, and so on.

Attention: Never bring slender things that cannot fit in a suitcase! Pedestrian walkways are not allowed and will be charged! (For example, some people may carry a flip flop or file rack) Such materials must be transported through a freight channel in the progress hall, and must be applied for in advance and paid for!

5. File class:

① Passport

② Print 2 copies of visa (to be checked at the boarding airport and also for check-in in Moscow)

③ The hotel and flight itinerary can be printed as a backup

④ Bring a pen as a backup

⑤ Bring some Chinese yuan to the local bank to exchange rubles

6. Bring enough business cards (prepare sufficient business cards according to the scale of the exhibition)

7. Find a translator in advance.

Most local people in Moscow communicate in Russian, and whether it is for daily life or exhibitions, over 70-80% of them do not speak English. There are also very few young people in Russia who can speak English. So if your peers don't know Russian, you must find a translator to avoid missing out on business opportunities due to communication issues.

8. Sufficient promotional materials should also be prepared in advance:

In addition, due to the limited amount of checked baggage and the small number of people going, it is not recommended to carry it over and prepare it in advance. When sending it to Russia by express delivery, all materials need to be declared for customs clearance!! It will take about 10 days at the earliest, so be sure to send it in advance! Avoid falling behind. Not recommended for Russian printing, super expensive!

9. Business card holder and collection box can be brought over:

The manufacturing industry in Russia is relatively heavy, and small items are expensive and difficult to buy. Print the Wx/Whatsapp QR code in advance for customers to scan easily!

10. Other:

You can bring some Chinese candies or small gifts to display on the booth, which many buyers will like.

2、 Once everything is ready, we are ready to fly to Moscow

1. It is recommended to arrive at the airport 2.5 to 3 hours in advance (during the peak hours of the exhibition, there are really many people checking in, and there is a lot of luggage, which is particularly slow to check in. It is recommended to compare it with the group itinerary for safety). When checking in, the staff will require the presentation of passports and visas. Please note that the validity period of your passport should be at least six months; If it has already been printed before the visa, just show the paper version for a look.

2. After landing, follow the main troops towards the entry point,! Entry is divided into Russian nationals and individuals from other countries, please do not mistake the channels. There is a Russian flag in the channel for locals, while in other countries, the Earth is drawn. There is Chinese on the screen, so don't worry. Get your passport in advance and queue up. To follow the instructions on the screen, use the green arrow to enter again, and do not use the red arrow to enter. Wait in line outside.

3. A small white note will be given upon entry, please keep it safe!!! You need to check it during hotel registration and exit.

3、 In addition to the exhibition, you can visit Russian clients and explore local attractions such as the famous Red Square and St. Vasily's Cathedral. Russia's subway stations are also very unique, and you can take a check in. Especially on the Line 5 loop, most subway stations are very artistic. Additionally, you can buy some small dolls, refrigerator stickers, etc. as souvenirs.
